About Dr. Stayton Coe

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in the Cincinnati, Ohio area with 10 years of clinical experience. I am passionate about helping people live their most valued life. I believe that with support, people can recover from trauma and adversity. In my work with clients, I will listen with empathy while also assisting in considering new alternatives to help shift the current patterns that don't seem to be working. I see my work with clients as collaborative and will discuss different treatments to help you decide what might be the best fit for you.

When I am not at the office, I enjoy spending time in nature through hiking or traveling. I spend most of my time with my family, including my daughter.

Clinical Experience

I spent nine years working at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center specializing in treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I also helped people cope with things that may come along with trauma such as depression, suicidal ideation, and difficulty coping with emotions. I also have speciality training in treatments for insomnia and nightmares. I’ve worked in both outpatient and residential treatment settings offering individual, group, and couples based treatments. I am also a trainer for Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and have experience providing clinical supervision to psychologists in training.
